In a Nov. 18 motion, prosecutors said Joshua Carrier’s substantial bond suggests he has money to flee and should be required to wear an ankle monitor.

Carrier currently faces two cases. One involves child pornography and the other involves sexual assault of children. Prosecutors said there are nearly 200 counts against 22 victims.
KOAA: Court combines charges against former police officer (Dec 28 2011) A former Colorado Springs school resource officer who is accused of assaulting students at Mann Middle School and of possessing child pornography will stand trial on all of the charges against him at once. Joshua Carrier, 30, was first arrested on May 11 on the child pornography charges then was re-arrested on May 19 on the sexual assault charges. On Wednesday, prosecutors voluntarily dismissed the child pornography charges with the understanding that they would refile them next month in the larger sexual assault case.
