The Monitor: Feds: La Joya ISD Mariachi director downloaded and shared child porn (Feb 28 2014)

Agents with Homeland Security Investigations arrested Garza during a raid at his home Thursday morning on the 2000 block of East 20th Street in Mission. The raid came after the agents conducted a 2-month investigation into illegal sharing of child pornography, court records show. One of the HSI agents tracked down Garza through his computer and saw that he was offering several movies that had child pornography on them, agents wrote in a criminal complaint. Agents seized two computers and several portable drives and computer memory storage devices. Garza spoke with agents and agreed to be interviewed without an attorney present, which is when he told HSI agents that he had downloaded child pornography and that he kept it on his computer and storage devices, the criminal complaint states.
