An investigation began Oct. 7, a news release from the Richmond police said, after Chariho School Resource Officer Adam Andrukiewicz was notified by the school administration that a student’s mother had made a complaint of an inappropriate relationship between a teacher named John Wedlock and her daughter, who was between 14 and 16 years old. Richmond Police Detective Drew Bishop and Patrolman Adam Andrukiewicz investigated, asking for help from the R.I. State Police Internet Crimes Against Children task force. He was released on $50,000 personal recognizance ... Teachers facing sex charges used Skype, apps to speak with student According to a police report, on October 7, the high school resource officer alerted school administration to a possible inappropriate relationship between the student and former science teacher John Wedlock, 52. The following day, detectives interviewed the student and her mother, when the student revealed she had began a texting and Skype relationship with Wedlock back in April.
