    Two teachers from Poinciana High School have been reassigned to another school a day after their arrests. Osceola County deputies said one is accused of child abuse, while the other failed to report the alleged incident ... her husband, Thomas Vacek, who is also a teacher, is charged with failure to report child abuse and resisting arrest without violence. Bianca Vacek, 51, is accused of burning the face of a 12-year-old boy with a lighter. She faces charges of aggravated child abuse, battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest without violence.

    Deputies took a report of the alleged child abuse on Tuesday. They spoke with the victim's mother who said she noticed what appeared to be a burn mark on her son's face. The victim was staying with the Vaceks for the past week. According to investigators, he told his mother that, while Bianca was intoxicated, she burned him with a cigarette lighter. The Sheriff's Office said a doctor determined that the victim received burn marks near his mouth and nose.

    WINK: Fla. teacher accused of burning boy in her care (Nov 15 2012)

    Orlando television station WFTV reported the child's mother called authorities Tuesday after she noticed the burn marks on his mouth and nose. She told police the boy was staying with Thomas and Bianca Vacek. According to Osceola County Sheriff's deputies, the child said Bianca Vacek burned him with a lighter while she was drunk.

    Husband-and-wife Poinciana High School teachers were arrested Tuesday and removed from the classroom after a 12-year-old boy told his mother he had been burned with a cigarette lighter while in their care, authorities said. The child told Osceola deputies that Bianca Vacek, 51, burned the his lower lip while she was drunk, a sheriff's report shows. She remained jailed Wednesday on charges of aggravated child abuse, battery on a law-enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

    Cafe Mom: Teacher Allegedly Burns Student With Cigarette While Drunk (Nov 15 2012)

    Bianca Vacek, 51, has been arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse, battery on a law-enforcement officer, and resisting arrest after a 12-year-old student accused her of drunkenly putting out a cigarette on the inside of his bottom lip. Let's hear it for Florida teachers, huh? The boy was inexplicably staying with Bianca and her husband, who happens to also be a teacher at Poinciana High School in Kissimmee, and a day or so after the dinnertime incident, the kid's mom saw burn marks on her son's nose and lips and called the cops. Bianca's husband Tom was also arrested for failing to report child abuse.
