Ysidoro Rosales-Motola, 56, teacher at Sharpstown High School, Houston ISD, Houston, Texas, "accused of sexual contact with at least three students on campus"

    Previously taught at:
Houston Chronicle: Warrant out for Sharpstown teacher after principal's arrest (Nov 21 2013)

... Ysidoro Rosales-Motola, 56, will be charged with two felony counts of an improper relationship with a child and one count of indecency with a child, Anderson said.
On Thursday, Sharpstown principal Rob Gasparello, 58, and two other administrators were charged with failing to tell police that students reported being sexually assaulted - in at least one case by a teacher, according to court records. Gasparello is accused of not reporting to law enforcement or Child Protective Services a sexual abuse complaint by a 17-year-old male student. The student told Gasparello in October that a male teacher inappropriately touched him during after-school tutorials at the campus, the criminal complaint states. Assistant principals [charges dropped], 28, and Silvio Leiva, 50, also were charged. Police allege they also failed to report allegations against the teacher, according to the court records. In a separate incident the same month, records say, Gasparello is accused of not telling the appropriate authorities that a 16-year-old female student said she was sexually assaulted before school. The criminal complaint does not say whether the alleged abuser was a Sharpstown employee.

I do not have time to follow the cases of the administrators who have been arrested for failure to report possible child abuse. I will place some links here to Google and local sources for those who want more information on the administrators cases:

Houston Chronicle: DA issues a warning as Sharpstown scandal unfolds (Nov 22 2013)

Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson pledged Friday to prosecute adults who keep quiet about suspected child abuse after filing charges against a teacher and three administrators from Sharpstown High School. The teacher, Ysidoro Rosales-Motola, was arrested later Friday at a motel on the Katy Freeway after a warrant had been issued for his arrest on three felony charges, accusing him of inappropriately touching at least three male students at school, according to authorities ... ... the Sharpstown High School teacher charged with inappropriately touching students was the target of similar allegations at Westbury High School in 2011. A former Westbury student told the Chronicle’s Ericka Mellon that the teacher, Ysidoro Rosales-Motola, pressed his hand into the boy’s genital area when the student turned in some schoolwork. The student reported the alleged episode and police investigated, but the district attorney’s office said evidence was not sufficient to prosecute. The accuser, now 18, told Mellon he was shocked to learn Rosales-Motola obtained a teaching job at Sharpstown High School the next school year. “If this was taken care of years ago, it wouldn’t have happened again,” the youth said.

Wrap-up on the charges against the administrators:

Principal, 2 assistants agree to deals resolving abuse-reporting charges

    20 Oct 2014

The former Sharpstown High School principal charged with failing to properly report alleged sexual abuse of students will have a clean record if he steers clear of trouble for the next year. Rob Gasparello, whose arrest last November contrasted with his portrayal in a 2012 documentary as a tireless, tenderhearted principal, will return to his old job this week after resolving his criminal case on Monday. Two assistant principals also charged with not reporting the allegations are being reinstated, too, after their cases were similarly resolved without trials.

In a brief, hushed hearing, Harris County Court-at-Law Judge Natalie Fleming approved the agreements with Gasparello and assistant principal Silvio Leiva. The deals, called pretrial diversion, do not require the educators to enter pleas of guilty or no contest but mandate they return to court in a year, at which time the charges can be dismissed if they have not broken any laws.

The charges against [the other] assistant principal ... were dropped outright.
