    The worrying world of child 'sexting': Kids as young as 5 investigated over explicit messages

    They can involve a message written with sexualised language, nude or semi-nude photos, sexual videos or even sexualised live chats. Charities have warned that although some kids might see sexting as 'a bit of fun', they are putting themselves at severe risk of exploitation and blackmail. Those who take part can quickly lose control and images can be shared widely - which causes severe distress, with research from the Priory Group suggesting it can lead to anxiety, depression and self-harm.
