    Teachers fuel defilement - Unatu official

    The chairperson of Uganda National Teachers’ Union (Unatu) in Mpigi District, Ms Barbra Kasule, has blamed teachers for fuelling defilement in the area saying; ‘out of four defilement suspects arrested in the district every week, one is a teacher.’ Mr Kasule said teachers are supposed to live exemplary lives and inspiring figures in society, but their increased involvement in the vice is denting the image of the teaching profession. “We are tired of teachers who always call on us at Unatu for help after being arrested and detained for defilement.
