Whalen, 56, of Clear Lake, was arrested at 8:54 p.m. Friday at Burke’s Bar & Grill, 1221 N. Federal Ave., according to Sgt. Dave Hauser of the Mason City Police Department. He said the police received a call at 8:42 p.m. about an allegedly intoxicated male in the alley at Burke’s attempting to get on a motorcycle and tipping it over. When officers arrived they found Whalen attempting to pick up the motorcycle in the alley, Hauser said. Tags:
