    Lubbock Deputy Chief McClure resigns month after arrest, LPD says


    The Lubbock Police Department on Monday morning said Deputy Chief Leath McClure has resigned. This came about a month after he was arrested and accused of putting a gun to a woman’s head. “Effective today, Deputy Chief McClure has resigned from the Lubbock Police Department,” LPD said in a statement.
