The River City News has learned that the charge involves the alleged trafficking of pain pills. ... Sanders said that Tyus's arrest resulted from a separate discovery during the federal investigation. "A federal investigation uncovered evidence he was trafficking pills but he's not part of the ring the DEA is after so he will be prosecuted on state charges," the prosecutor said. Federal agents question employees at Covington school 20 Aug 2014 Federal agents have visited the building twice since school started Aug. 13, according to an email Covington Independent Public School District Superintendent Alvin Garrison sent to faculty and staff Tuesday. Agents questioned three employees, Garrison said. "At this point, the federal agents have not shared with us what their investigation entails," he said. ... Holmes Middle School employee charged with drug trafficking 20 Aug 2014 Agents with the Northern Kentucky Drug Task Force arrested Quincey Tyus, 26, Tuesday at the school after a Drug Enforcement Administration investigation uncovered evidence. Rob Sanders, Kentucky Commonwealth Attorney for Kenton County, said the evidence came about during larger operation by the federal agency int a possible drug trafficking ring.
