An Eltham teacher from a school in Lee has been charged with sexually assaulting two boys. Peter Donoghue, aged 52, of Avery Hill Road, was arrested on May 30 following the alleged incident at an educational camp at Windmill Hill, near Herstmonceux in East Sussex. He has now been charged by Sussex Police with two counts of sexual assault by touching.​

An Eltham teacher from a school in Lee has appeared at Eastbourne Magistrates' Court charged with sexually assaulting two boys. Peter Donoghue, aged 52, of Avery Hill Road, was arrested on May 30 following the alleged incident at an educational camp at Windmill Hill, near Herstmonceux in East Sussex. He was charged earlier this month by Sussex Police with two counts of sexual assault by touching. ​

UK News Shopper: Eltham teacher from Lee school faces trial over child sex assault charges (Jan 2 2013)

Peter Donoghue ... appeared at Eastbourne Magistrates' Court on January 2 to face the charges. He was granted conditional bail and is now due to face trial on March 1 at Lewes Crown Court. ​

 

Peter Donoghue found guilty on two accounts of sexual assault by touching two boys aged under 13. Sentenced to 3years for each offence, to run concurrently. Put on Sex Offenders register indefinitely and banned from working with children.
