    The case of Lancaster city police Sgt. Raymond Corll yielded justice, and two courageous officers


    Lancaster city police Sgt. Raymond Corll was found guilty last week of lying under oath in connection with the prosecution of a city resident he arrested for public drunkenness in 2014. Corll was convicted of felony perjury, misdemeanor simple assault, false swearing and official oppression. During the arrest, Corll punched the suspect in the face. Corll, who is out on bail, faces a potential prison sentence. He had been on paid administrative leave since November 2015 and was paid nearly $120,000 during that time.
