Monsur Khan, 33, was arrested last night in Bayside for "promoting sex and sexual acts" with a girl under the age of 15, an NYPD spokesman said. The child is not a student of Khan's, and the spokesman did not know where Khan teaches. Khan is charged with attempted rape, attempted aggravated sexual abuse, attempted criminal sex act, attempted disseminating indecent material to a minor, attempted promoting obscene sex acts performed by a minor, attempted criminal sex act with a minor, attempted endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest. Khan is still waiting to be arraigned.
