Police in Longueuil have arrested a 37-year-old man they think is an important supplier of the date-rape drug for years. Michel Jr. Vincent was arrested October 12th at his home in the Old Longueuil borough.​

Michel Vincent Jr. was arrested the night of Oct. 12 at his residence on Beliveau St., a spokesman for the South Shore’s street gang squad said Friday. A container of about 55 litres of the drug GHB — gamma hydroxybutyric — was seized at his home, squad spokesman Martin Simard said.​

Michel Vincent Jr. was arrested the night of Oct. 12 at his residence on Beliveau St., a spokesman for the South Shore’s street gang squad said Friday. A container of about 55 litres of the drug GHB — gamma hydroxybutyric — was seized at his home, squad spokesman Martin Simard said ... The street value of the drug seized at Vincent’s home by the squad, comprised of police officers from South Shore municipalities and the Sûreté du Québec, was about $250,000, Simard said. Police also seized about $18,000 in cash, drug-related paraphernalia and a vehicle.​

Toronto Sun: Teacher arrested for allegedly possessing 'date rape' drug (Oct 20 2012)

Police arrested a high school math teacher last week for allegedly possessing $250,000 of GHB in his home, a narcotic commonly referred to as the "date rape" drug. Police said they investigated Michel Vincent, 37, for a few weeks before they arrested him on Oct. 12. Police said they found 55 litres of the drug in his home, an amount that represented about 50,000 doses.​
