Authorities arrested Michael James Agrippine, 47, without incident today at his home in the 6800 block of Main Street in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin said during a news conference this afternoon. Agrippine was in the boys' restroom Friday at Union Terrace Elementary School when the victim was escorted there by a female teacher, authorities said. The woman did not enter the restroom and Agrippine approached the boy, held him against a wall and assaulted him, according to authorities. Agrippine denied the allegations at his preliminary arraignment today, but court records say he admitted to the alleged assault.

Morning Call: Teacher must face charges he sexually assaulted student, judge rules (May 17 2013)

few minutes into the video, monitored by an Allentown police detective, the interviewer asks the boy why he's there and he talks about what happened at his school: "A guy touched me in the bathroom." For several minutes, the boy graphically and, at times, inconsistently tells her about being sexually assaulted in a school bathroom by a teacher at Union Terrace Elementary School. The boy describes the teacher only as "Mr. A," a white man with dark hair and glasses who is new at the school. Police later identify that person as Michael James Agrippine, a 47-year-old substitute teacher. Allentown police said Agrippine on Jan. 18 pushed the boy, a special education student, against a wall, held him from behind, pulled down his pants and molested him. In the video, the boy says the assaults happened on two consecutive days. District Judge Ron Manescu, who also heard from the Allentown detective, ruled evidence exists to send charges against Agrippine to Lehigh County Court.
