LMPD officer indicted on assault charge in arrest of man outside Louisville bar

A Louisville Metro police officer caught on camera knocking an 18-year-old to the ground during an arrest has been indicted by a grand jury. The grand jury decided to move forward with a misdemeanor assault fourth degree charge. Officer Lonzo McConico arrested the teen outside the Old Louisville Tavern back in February. Cell phone video shows McConico knocking Tanner Brown, 18, to the ground while Brown was handcuffed. Brown was arrested for alcohol intoxication and resisting arrest.
