    Suspect Arrested in Aggravated Battery to School Employee​

    On December 22, 2011 at approximately 3:18 p.m., Naperville Police responded to Beebe Elementary School located in the 100 block of East 11th Ave. for the report of an indecent exposure.​

    Upon arrival, officers learned a member of the school staff had allegedly been victimized by a custodian who also works in the school. The alleged offender reportedly exposed himself to the staff member, making contact with her and then fleeing on foot prior to the arrival of authorities.​
    A canvass of the immediate area by Naperville Police was successful when the alleged suspect was located on the south side of the downtown Naperville train depot. The alleged suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the police department.​

    At the time of the incident, the school day had ended and no students were present. Neither the victim nor anyone else required medical attention as a result of this incident.​

    The below listed subject was arrested and charged by the Naperville Police Department.​

    Charges: Aggravated Battery (class 3 felony) Public Indecency (Class A misdemeanor)​

    The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and news media that a charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.​

    A former school custodian for the Chicago area Naperville school district with a record of felony conviction has been found guilty in the sex-related battery of a teacher at Beebe Elementary School.
    Fifty-five-year-old Kenneth R. Brown, was charged with a Class 3 felony of aggravated battery of a school employee, and has been ordered to serve six months in a jail work-release program, plus two and a half years of probation.

    An ex-convict and former custodian for Naperville School District 203 has been ordered to serve six months in a jail work-release program, after being found guilty of last winter’s sex-related battery of a female instructor at Beebe Elementary School.
