The Mercedes Early Childhood Center student claimed the suspect poked him in the hand with a sharp object when he held it out Oct. 4. Maldonado said the boy told police that he had stuck his hand out to receive a dollar, and that’s when he felt something sharp. The boy also said he was knocked down and hit on the leg by the suspect. Maldonado said the boy had visible injuries on his hand and leg.Tags:
