He has been placed on administrative leave from his work in District 303. Jerome B. McCauley, 45, of the 300 block of Grant Street, was arrested after Sycamore police searched his home Monday. He has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, a Class 2 felony, and five counts of distribution of child pornography, a Class X felony. Police assigned to look into Internet crimes began the investigation that led to the charges in August.
