The couple, who have not been named, were in a stable condition at a hospital in East Sussex at the weekend after reportedly overdosing on drugs on December 5. They were rushed to hospital by an ambulance crew after the woman called emergency services ... But neighbours of the couple told The Sun the alleged overdose was not related to their daughter running away with her teacher ... It later emerged that the couple escaped capture after the girl used her mother's passport. The pair allegedly fled to France because the age of sexual consent is 15 and intended to return to the UK after the girl turned 16.
