WIFR: Belvidere North High School Teacher Arrested on Criminal Sexual Assault Charges (Aug 9 2013) On Sunday, July 28th, Boone County Sheriff's Deputies took a report regarding a 17-year-old student at Belvidere North High School having inappropriate contact with a Belvidere North High School Teacher [Jenee A. Blackert]. After further investigation, the Boone County Sheriff's Department learned Blackert had sexual contact with the student. We're told the incident did not occur at the school.

Investigators say a 17-year-old student reported the inappropriate contact on Sunday, July 28th. The 30 year old social studies teacher was charged with four counts of criminal sexual assault and taken to the Boone County jail. She's since bonded out.
