An Anderson man was charged after he reportedly molested and raped a pre-teen girl. Court documents explained the victim told her teacher that she had been molested and that the sexual assault happened two years prior. Around Oct. 20, 2023, the teacher filed a report with the Department of Child Services. An investigator with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department responded to get an initial interview. Notes from the victim stated a man, later identified as 44-year-old Donald Ryan McNeely, would have her stroke his genitals. The girl stated that she initially refused but McNeely would “threaten to hurt her mother” ...
