    Legend of killer teacher haunts former schoolhouse north of Zeeland

    The Borculo schoolhouse was constructed in 1876. Shortly after 1900, the original structure was moved. In 1908, the schoolhouse was rebuilt with three rooms, and the existing structure today is at the same location.
    Legend conveys that a teacher at the old schoolhouse, named Miss Van Moss, “had accumulated a reputation as a teacher who was not afraid to implement drastic martial force to get her students to pay attention,” according to a paranormal website.
    One day after a playground mishap, the cruel teacher supposedly struck a misbehaving student in the head with such force the child died instantly as a result.
