Archdiocese: Teacher admits to sex abuse of students 25 July 2014 A high school teacher has admitted to allegations of sexual abuse from a former student and has admitted to sexually abusing two others, according to the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The alleged crimes happened decades ago at an all-girls high school. Archdiocese spokesman Sean Caine told 11 News that the victim told them earlier this week that Helene Murtha, 58, sexually abused her repeatedly while she was a student and Murtha was a teacher in the 1980s at what used to be Archbishop Keough High School and is now Seton Keough High School. "It took place during the course of her years at the school and it was multiple times over a period of the four years that she was there," Caine said. ...
