Madrasa teacher arrested for raping girl in Satkhira

Police have arrested a madrasa teacher from Kaliganj, Satkhira allegedly for raping a tenth-grader madrasa girl. Hafez Abdul Majid, 42, was arrested from Paukhali Mahbuba Razzakia Hafizia Madrasa and Orphanage at Kaliganj on Tuesday night. The father of the madrasa student filed the case against him under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act with Kaliganj police on Tuesday evening Abdul Majid is the son of Shawkat Gazi of Shrifalkati village under Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira.
