Fight years ago may have sparked West Boca shooting that left man, 25, investigators say The fatal shooting of a West Boca substitute teacher may have stemmed from a fight four years ago, according to a Palm Beach Sheriff's arrest report. The July 30 shooting outside O'Conner's Pub at 9900 Sandalfoot Boulevard in West Boca, left Christo Maccius dead. Tips and some digging on the social media site Facebook led deputies to his accused shooter, Garry Pierre, 28, of Fort Lauderdale, detectives said.
