Ex-N.J. teacher gets probation after settling misconduct allegations

Thompson was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal sexual contact and official misconduct. He was sentenced to two years probation while surrendering his teaching licensing, according to a judgment of conviction. Thompson was contacted directly by NJ Advance Media Wednesday, but did not respond to a request for comment.
