    Norwich Teacher Charged With Sex Offences

    Emily Tatra, of Stafford Avenue in Norwich, was charged by officers from Norfolk Constabulary’s Safeguarding Children Online Team (SCOLT), with one count of abuse of position of trust by inciting a child into sexual activity and another count of abuse of position of trust by causing a child to watch a sexual act. Both alleged offences took place whilst she was a teacher at Downham Market Academy in 2016. Tatra has been bailed to appear at King’s Lynn Magistrates Court on Thursday 27 April 2017.

    Downham Market teacher faces two sex charges

    Detectives have charged a 27-year-old teacher in connection with sex offences. Emily Tatra, of Stafford Avenue in Norwich, was charged by officers from Norfolk Constabulary’s Safeguarding Children Online Team (SCOLT) with one count of abuse of position of trust by inciting a child into sexual activity and another count of abuse of position of trust by causing a child to watch a sexual act.     Former Downham Market teacher Emily Tatra from Norwich in court on sex charges

    A female teacher has appeared in court accused of sending indecent images of herself to a pupil. Emily Tatra, 27, appeared at King's Lynn Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with abuse of position of trust by causing a child to watch a sexual act and inciting sexual activity with a child. Tatra, of Stafford Road, Norwich, who was a teacher at Downham Market Academy at the time, will appear at Norwich Crown Court on May 25. She has been bailed under the condition that she does not contact the victim or anyone aged under 18.

    A woman who sent indecent pictures of herself to a pupil and encouraged him to do the same has been handed a four-month suspended sentence.
