Teen says he was beaten, falsely arrested by cop husband of teacher who sexually abused him According to the teen, Officer Keesee once tackled him at a football game, claimed that a phone he was carrying was a gun, and then “walked him handcuffed in front of other students and their parents and friends, directly past a line of teachers and administrators, thoroughly embarrassing [him] and putting [him] on display as if [he] were a criminal.” Another time, he detained the teen under false pretenses, put him in a holding cell, and then took a photograph of him. He then sent the photograph to his wife, who enlarged it, then used it as an example of a drug dealer in her debate class. When the teen complained, Officer Keesee came to the school and choked him. “Adam Keesee’s hands squeezed around plaintiff’s neck, defendant Adam Keesee yelled that if plaintiff had anything to say to him, that he should say it to his face, that he could kick plaintiff’s ‘(expletive deleted),’ ‘badge or no badge.’” The complaint continued: “Plaintiff was scared and without air. At the point when plaintiff was beginning to turn purple from lack of oxygen, the other defendant, John Doe, police officer, then just a new officer on the force, intervened and told defendant Adam Keesee to back off. Ex-Sherwood teacher convicted of sex abuse remains in jail on probation violation charge A former Sherwood High School teacher convicted of sexually abusing a 16-year-old student was arrested this week for not disclosing that she was in an area where teens gather, a violation of her probation. Denise Keesee, 40, was booked into the Washington County Jail Wednesday and was arraigned in court the following day for a probation violation. ... According to the affidavit, Keesee asked and later received permission from her probation officer in August to pick up and drop off her son at football practices held at Edy Ridge Elementary School in Sherwood. On Tuesday, she was allowed to also attend the practices and use the track at the school during practice time. Keesee had previously told the probation officer that there were "no attractions for 13-17 year olds to congregate at" and submitted pictures of the campus, the affidavit said. The commissioner of the Sherwood youth football league called Keesee's probation officer on Wednesday and said he had gotten several complaints from parents concerned by the former high school teacher's appearance the day before because the elementary school shares a building, campus, track and practice fields with Laurel Ridge Middle School, the affidavit said. The probation officer did not know the schools were on the same campus until receiving the phone call.
