An alleged hazing incident took place in Blackwell Elementary School on April 7 during the district’s spring break. The incident involved grown men running around a gymnasium wearing only g-strings and covered in baby oil, NBC12 reports. Richmond Public Schools reportedly sent a letter home to parents describing the incident and stated a full investigation is underway. Blackwell Principal Daryl Roselle is at the center of the controversy for allegedly allowing the men inside to engage in the reported hazing ritual.

NBC 12: Richmond Schools: Principal did not get promotion (July 17 2012)

A school spokesperson with Richmond schools said the principal at Blackwell did NOT get a raise or a promotion. It was a "parallel move" and the "raise" was the three percent raise everyone got in the school system to offset the VRS. Many were upset that Principal Daryl Roselle, criticized for allowing a hazing ritual on school property, reportedly received a promotion from Richmond Public Schools ... Several people questioned about Roselle's new job would not go into detail about the decision. They only said no one could prove those hazing claims.

WBTV: Richmond school administrator placed on leave (Nov 15 2013)

A Richmond schools administrator, who was once suspended for holding an after-hours fraternity event at a school, is in trouble again. This time he's being investigated for an alleged incident involving an elementary school student. We've learned "instructional specialist in exceptional education" Daryl Roselle, is on administrative leave for the second time in as many years.

    ...

Sources tell NBC12 Roselle was suspended because of an incident dealing with a then-elementary school student. No one would go on the record with exactly what those allegations may be, but we're told it happened several years ago while Roselle was working at Carver Elementary. The incident only came to light this year when the student, who is now in middle school, recognized Roselle while he was at a school for a meeting. The student connected the specialist to his time at Carver. The child brought the information to school officials. Sources say his family had done that exact thing at the time of the original incident, but no one knows if the report ever made it to child protective services.

People, families, and children are so needed for money that they will do anything. Students will make up stories and half beat parents will believe it just to show their delusional support. It is horrible! Support your children by going to church, work, invest in education, meaningful and intentional family time and be a parent and not high school friend.
