The Reporter: Lewd acts lead to Dixon arrest (Apr 16 2013) Corey Wilkins, 34, was taken into custody following a two week investigation after an acquaintance told police he allegedly admitted to molesting children, said Dixon Police Chief Jon Cox. As of Monday, authorities had identified a total of five primarily male victims who were between the ages of 9 and 17 at the time of the molestations, which Cox said began 11 years ago and most recently occurred a year ago. Wilkins, a private music instructor in both Vacaville and Dixon for the past 10 years, was booked on 15 potential counts of various lewd acts upon a child that included sodomy, oral copulation and penetration with a foreign object, Cox said. Wilkins allegedly knew each of his victims through his family. None of the identified victims, however, were Wilkins' music students, Cox noted.
