Howard teacher arrested on sexual assault charges A technology teacher in the Howard County school system has been charged with assaulting a 14-year-old boy he met online after posing as a fellow teenager, according to police. Howard County police charged Christopher Russell Fox, 36, of Randallstown with sexual solicitation of a minor and sex offenses in connection with a July incident in which he allegedly engaged in sex acts with the teenager near the boy’s Howard County home. ... Charging documents state the boy told police he arranged a meeting with someone he thought was 16, based on text messages and online chat. At 1:30 a.m. July 10, the boy went to a gazebo near his home for the arranged meeting and encountered a man. The boy told police he asked the man how old he was, and the man told him he was 25, police said. Charging documents indicate the teen asked the man if he was going to hurt him, and the man said “no.” The boy and the man engaged in sexual acts, police said. Charging documents state the boy told police he was not forced to perform the acts. The boy returned home and called police. Police said they identified Fox as a suspect based on information from the boy’s computer. Charging documents also state DNA from the scene matched DNA from Fox, and he was subsequently charged.
