Christopher Defraga (Warren, Massachusetts), 37, long-term substitute teacher at Providence Career & Technical Academy, Providence School Department, Providence, Rhode Island, "charges that sexually assaulted a former student" Teacher charged with raping student placed on leave Christopher Defraga, 37, of Warren, pleaded not guilty in Attleboro District Court Wednesday to charges of rape and assault and battery. According to Sgt. Arthur Brillon, the former teacher admits to having a sexual relationship with a student at Attleboro High School, but claims it started when she was 19 years old and after he was no longer working at the school.
