Walnut St.) reported a sexual assault to the School Resource Officer assigned to Reynolds. The student, a 13-year-old male, reported inappropriate conduct that had been occurring between him and a 36-year-old female teacher at the school. Detectives from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police immediately launched an investigation. Officials from the School District of Lancaster were also immediately notified and assisted in the investigation. Police were also assisted by the Lancaster County Children's Alliance. The investigation revealed that the teacher initiated physical contact with the victim, to include kissing and fondling that was sexual in nature. These incidents occurred in the teacher's classroom after normal school hours, and took place on various dates between late October 2011 and December 21, 2011. As a result of this investigation, the below individual was charged with (1) count of Unlawful Contact with Minor, (1) count of Corruption of Minors, and (3) counts of Indecent Assault by Det. Aaron Harnish and a warrant was issued. Charged was: Christina LAYSER 36 years old1000 blk. Billview Dr.Lancaster PA LAYSER voluntarily came to the Lancaster City Police station on January 5, 2012 with her attorney and met with Detective Harnish. The warrant was served at this time and LAYSER was arraigned before MDJ Bruce Roth. She was released on $100,000.00 unsecured bail.
