Carla Maria Ruggeri, 30, from Putney, was 22 when she allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old year 12 male student in 2005. Ms Ruggeri appeared in Newtown Local Court on Tuesday charged with three counts of sexual intercourse with a person under care. Police documents tendered in court said the offences took place between July 21 and November 30, 2005 at Arncliffe.​

Now 30, she appeared briefly in Newtown Local Court today charged with three counts of sexual intercourse with a person under care. She did not enter a plea and the matter was adjourned to Downing Centre Local Court on February 12 ... Ruggeri was arrested and charged late last month, when police searched her home in Sydney's west. Officers seized a number of items as evidence.​
