Prosecutors say one of the encounters happened outside the school, including one in a vehicle in a nearby parking lot. Prosecutors say they have text messages confirming there was a relationship between Miller and the student.

CBS Local Chicago: Teacher Charged With Having Sex With Student (Aug 10 2013) A criminal court judge effectively removed 39-year-old Bridgette Miller from the classroom, by barring her from any contact with the student, witnesses, or anyone else under the age of 18. She has been charged with criminal sexual assault. Cook County State’s attorney’s office spokesman Steve Campbell said the 17-year-old was a student in one of Miller’s classes at CVCA ... Miller’s bond has been set at $150,000. She’s due back in court on Aug. 29.
