So why isn't Brianna Walker being busted for having sex with four students?

It appears that she missed committing four felonies by a mere 32 days. CS/HB 495 (K-12 Public Education), which was passed by the Florida legislature and signed by the Governor on 6 April 2018, included provisions making teacher-student sex in K-12 schools a felony, but it didn't go into effect until 1 July 2018, 32 days after the marijuana & whiskey & train-pull party on 30 May 2018.

The age of consent in Florida is 18 (with a "close-in" exception for 16-17 year olds unless the adult is 24 years of age or older), so until the effective date of CS/HB 495, students age 17 & 18 would have been fair game for predatory teachers. Two were of the age of consent, and for the other two the "close-in" exception applied since Brianna Walker was 23 at the time.
