GUILTY 10/14/2015 A plea deal was reached last week in the case against former Swiss Hills Career Center teacher Brandi Hobbs. Hobbs, who had been charged on several counts alleging sexual misconduct with a minor, plead guilty to one charge, with the other four charges being dropped. Hobbs plead guilty to one charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, a first degree misdemeanor that is a type of sex crime against a minor. As part of the plea bargain, Hobbs was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all of which were suspended. She will be placed on two years supervised probation as well. Also, as a condition of the plea bargain, Hobbs was required to resign her position with the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District within 14 days.
