ABC Local WTVD: Teacher charged with sexually assaulting minor (Sept 18 2012) Officials said [Bradley Norman] Dent worked at the Carolina Counseling Services on Raeford Road. He was counseling kids and that's where police say he found his victims. "He's been charged with one count of sex offensive involving a juvenile and two counts of indecent liberties with a child," said Gavin MacRoberts, with the Fayetteville Police Department.ABC11 spoke to one of Dent's alleged adult victims. "I said 'It's better we just end things here,'" said the alleged victim. "He touched me on my knee. He placed his hands on my knee." The man said Dent made sexual advances towards him in March during a session at Carolina Counseling Services. "He put his hands on my knee and he was like, he sat there kind of quietly and that's when he said 'Have you ever thought about being in a bisexual relationship and have you ever thought about being with a man, or being with a man alone -- not a man and a woman -- just with a man alone.'" The alleged victim said he walked out of the session and told the management about the incident, but he said they did nothing and kept Dent on staff.In May, a parent filed a complaint with Fayetteville police. The investigation took several months and Dent was charged Monday six months after this victim said he warned Carolina Counseling Services about Dent.

Police said the alleged assault occurred between late April and late May at Carolina Counseling Services, at 1318 Raeford Road, where Dent worked part time as a counselor. The teen's parents notified police of the alleged assault in May, but Fayetteville Police Department spokesman Gavin MacRoberts said the investigation takes time.

The 17-year old male victim told investigators that Dent forced him to have sexual contact. Dent is facing charges of second degree forcible sex offense and first degree kidnapping according to Debbie Tanna, Cumberland County Public Information Officer ... Earlier this week, Dent was charged by Fayetteville Police Officers with similar charges involving a 15-year old victim. He posted bail and was later released from jail.

ABC Local WTVD: Teacher facing additional sexual abuse allegations (Mar 15 2013) Officials said [Bradley Norman] Dent allegedly engaged in a sexual act with a 15-year old back in June 2011. During that time, Dent was employed at Longhill School where the victim was a member of a study club. Dent has now been charged with sex crimes involving four separate victims. Dent was arrested twice in September after a 17 year old and two other 15 year olds told investigators that Dent forced them to have sexual contact with him.
WRAL: Fourth teen accuses Fayetteville teacher of sex abuse (Mar 15 2013) Authorities said the alleged crime occurred last June and involved a 15-year-old student who was a member of a study club at Long Hill Elementary School. Dent was a fourth-grade teacher at the school at the time. Dent was arrested in September after the parents of another 15-year-old reported that Dent forced their son to have sexual contact with him last spring while working as a a part-time counselor at Carolina Counseling Services, at 1318 Raeford Road. In November, a third 15-year-old who also met Dent through the counseling service accused him of improper sexual contact in 2010. The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office also charged Dent in September with alleged crimes involving a 17-year-old. An employee of Carolina Counseling Services said in September that Dent is a licensed social worker who quit working at the facility a few months earlier.
