Detectives from the Child Sexual Assault Unit continued the investigation. They learned that the victim and the suspect had been having inappropriate sexual conversations via the social media website Facebook since the summer of 2012. The relationship progressed to inappropriate sexual correspondence between the two using the Internet program Skype.
