    Hanceville Police arrested 42-year-old Anthony Wade Sisk, of Hanceville, on Thanksgiving Day. Huntsville Police alerted authorities about Sisk, but won't release who tipped them off. Sisk was charged with second degree sexual abuse, second degree sodomy, enticing a child, and electronic solicitation of a child. Huntsville Police said Sisk contacted the victim on Facebook. Investigators believe Sisk visited the 15-year-old at least twice in Huntsville. On at least one visit, Sisk allegedly had sexual contact with the teen.

    Hanceville resident Anthony Wade Sisk was working in Cullman when police say he contacted the 15-year-old. According to police records Sisk started a relationship online through Facebook and eventually meet up with the girl at least twice. Police say on the second encounter Sisk had a sexual relationship with the minor. 42-year-old Sisk is charged with 2nd degree sexual abuse, sodomy, enticing a child and electronic enticement of a child.

    Cullman Times: Former substitute teacher arrested for sodomy, solicitation of a child (Nov 26 2012)

    According to Hanceville Police Chief Bob Long, Anthony “Tony” Wade Sisk, 42, of Hanceville, was arrested on existing warrants during what he called a “routine traffic stop” by his officers on Thanksgiving day ... “When the officer ran his information, it came back that he had several warrants out for him,” Long said. Sisk was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where Cullman County Sheriff Mike Rainey said he was held for nine hours before being picked up by the Madison County Sheriff's Department.

    A 42-year-old north Alabama man is facing child sex abuse charges after police say he had sex with a teenage girl he befriended on Facebook. Police say an anonymous tipster led them to Anthony Wade Sisk, of Hanceville, who was arrested on Thanksgiving. Authorities say Sisk visited the 15-year-old victim in Huntsville at least twice, and had sex with her at least once.

    Police say an anonymous tipster led them to Anthony Wade Sisk, of Hanceville, who was arrested on Thanksgiving ... Sisk is charged with sexual abuse, sodomy, enticing a child and electronic solicitation of a child ... Sisk was taken to the Huntsville city jail and is out on bond. It was not known whether Sisk had an attorney.

    Hanceville resident, 42-year-old Anthony Wade Sisk, also known as Tony, was recently taken into custody over the Thanksgiving holiday for multiple sexual offenses, alleged to have taken place in Madison County ... Sisk was a freelance sports correspondent at CullmanSense for two 2012 football games. He also covered several basketball and 10 football games in 2011. Sisk had also served as a sports correspondent for The Cullman Times from 2000s until 2010, prior to freelancing at CS. Noah Chandler, CS Publisher, said on Monday that “the allegations against Mr. Sisk are extremely disturbing,” and “actions such as these would never be tolerated inside of this organization.”
