Former Lee County deputy detained until trial in child porn case

Former Lee County Deputy Kevin Taylor showed no emotion as he sat shackled in a courtroom Friday, petitioning a federal judge to grant bond before trial. Taylor was initially arrested by the state following allegations he sexually abused a 10-year-old girl, who was spending the night with his daughter. During the investigation, officers turned over more than 1,600 child pornography images on three different computers, including Taylor's county-issued laptop.
