    After Recent Charges Against Teacher, Ohio Department of Education Speaks Out

    The Ohio Department of Education is going on record after officers charged more central ohio teachers with crimes involving students. They say the number of referrals coming in against licensed educators have nearly doubled since 2005. This week, a grand jury indicted a Newark high school teacher for an alleged sexting relationship he had with a student. Last year, Newark teacher Anthony Mmiller was sentenced to four years in prison for his sexual contact with students.
