Thanks for the update. Not a surprise: the fact that she's guilty; and the fact that despite being convicted she'll serve no time in prison. The double standard is alive and well. I remember her facebook having some post about men cheating (I forget the specifics, but she was clearly making a point that cheating is bad). In addition to being a criminal whore with students, she's also a world class hypocrite. I feel bad for her husband and hope he dumped this garbage. Her son must be so proud of her. btw: pleading not guilty during an arraignment--even when the accused is guilty as sin and has no intention of going to trial if they can help it--is commonplace. In fact, it's generally advised by everyone in the judicial system (including judges) because pleading guilty essentially hands the state the conviction and eliminates the accused's chance at a plea agreement. Pleading not guilty, on the other hand, commits you to nothing except additional legal fees as you use the extra time to negotiate a plea deal if a deal is to be offered. So someone pleading not guilty will, more often than not, later take a plea deal unless the 'deal' is so bad they feel like they have a better shot at being tried and somehow ending up with a better result.
