Boca News Now: Boca Teacher Arrested For Soliciting Sex From Students (Aug 23 2013) According to BSO: A high school teacher was arrested Thursday after having used technology to solicit sex from multiple students. Stevie Glasspool, 31, abused her position as a teacher when she used Facebook to solicit sex from at least four victims at Mavericks Charter High School in Pompano Beach. Glasspool’s victims range in age from 15 to 17. She invited the young students to sleepover at her home in Boca Raton and offered them marijuana as an added incentive. The teacher’s messages were overt in nature. She wrote “I don’t want you to fall in love with me but I also don’t want you to hit it and quit it either”.

Sometimes, she would send him dozens of messages until he responded, he said. "She didn't necessarily go all out the first day, but after 30 minutes of me talking to her that night, she got more blatant with me," said O'Neill, who is now a senior.Some of the messages ended up on his Facebook wall for all to see. That's when he says that Glasspool deleted her Facebook account, but not before he saved a message allegedly from her. "I'm here all night, but this sounds like a sleep over all night because if you give it like you say I may want more. I think I love this not being your teacher anymore," the message said. Shortly thereafter he told another teacher and Glasspool was fired, he said.

The Blaze: Female Teacher Allegedly Used Facebook to Ask Students for Sex: ‘You Will be Graded on Your Performance’ (Aug 24 2013) “She liked to target kids from 15 to 17, boys,” Broward Sheriff’s Detective Ann Suter said. Glasspool was fired from Mavericks Charter High School in May. She reportedly did not report for duty at the school the days she felt she was in danger of getting caught for her online messages. “She started to feel the heat for this [sexual solicitation], which is why she left,” said Suter. But soon after, Glasspool began teaching at Hollywood Academy of Arts and Science Charter School and remained employed there until her arrest Thursday. “She’s moved from charter school to charter school to charter school,” said Suter.
