Ex-Forest Grove High School assistant basketball coach accused of sexually abusing student Robert Allen Schuppert Jr., 30, of Gaston, was indicted August 27 on charges of second-degree sex abuse, luring a minor and evidence tampering, said Capt. Mike Herb, a Forest Grove police spokesman. He was arrested by Washington County Sheriff's deputies two days later and booked into the county jail. The arrest comes after a four-month police investigation looking into allegations of misconduct by Schuppert, Herb said. Incidents of sexual abuse involving the female student are alleged to have occurred on August 9 and August 17 while the other charges stem from October 2013 and February 2014, court records show.
