    Plum schools to use software to track incidents, monitor tips

    Plum’s school board Tuesday authorized the district to hire a company whose Web-based software will help administrators track, share and monitor tips about misbehavior and threats through a centralized reporting system. On Wednesday the district placed a purchase order for $3,648 with Awareity, which will implement an incident-reporting system that allows students, parents, faculty and the public to file reports and share social media posts. The district hopes to have the service activated within the next six weeks.
