PRINCETON: Former teacher charged with sex assault of student A children’s entertainer was arrested Monday and charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old female student during his day job as a now fired theater teacher at the Hun School of Princeton. Nolan Johnson, 39, was accused of having engaged in "inappropriate sexual behavior" multiple times with the girl on and off campus between June 10 and July 31 of this year, Princeton police said Monday Mr. Johnson had worked at Hun starting with the 2012-13 school year, the school said in August 2012 in announcing his hiring. New & Notes: Hun School of Princeton teacher arrested for sexual assault [Nolan] Johnson allegedly “engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with [a 16-year-old] female victim on multiple occasions between June 2014 and July 2014, while Nolan was the victim’s Hun School teacher,” according to the release. After school officials learned of the allegations, Johnson was placed on leave. Johnson thereafter allegedly confessed the crime to police and was immediately terminated, according to the Times of Trenton. Police allege Johnson, of Morrisville, Pa., engaged in a relationship with a female student between June and July, PlanetPrinceton.com reported. When school officials were tipped to the inappropriate affair, they alerted police and suspended Johnson, the school announced. The Hun School Headmaster Jonathan Brougham said Johnson was terminated once he admitted to the relationship.
