Jason P. Hollinger (St. Inigoes, Maryland), 40, former teacher at Margaret Brent Middle School, St. Mary's County Public Schools, Helen, Maryland, failure to register as a sex offender, originally incarcerated in 2011 for sexual abuse of a former female student, 14 Former Margaret Brent Middle School Teacher Arrested for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender On November 21, 2014, Detective Corporal W. Raddatz of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, Sex Offender Compliance Unit, located and arrested Jason P. Hollinger, age 40, of St. Inigoes. It was determined Hollinger failed to register with the Maryland Sex Offender Registry following his release from incarceration on November 7, 2014. On March 3, 2011 Jason Paul Hollinger 37 was sentenced was sentenced to 3 years all but 8 months suspended for assault and one year to be served consecutively for fourth degree sex offense. Hollinger was also ordered by the court to register as a sex offender. On April 28, 2010 the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office received information from the St. Mary’s County Public Schools regarding a suspected child abuse involving a former student of Margaret Brent Middle School. Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Special Victim’s Unit, assumed the investigation and determined that beginning in April of 2009 through March of 2010 Jason Paul Hollinger age 36 of Lusby, Maryland, a teacher at Margaret Brent Middle School, engaged in sexual conduct with a fourteen year old female victim, whom he had taught during last school year ...
