    Paulding County teacher Jack Talley turned himself into the Paulding County Detention Center on Monday afternoon. Paulding County's Crimes Against Children Division had investigated and interviewed witnesses from a case on October 8, where Tally allegedly restrained a Pre-K student inappropriately at Northside Elementary School. Police said the child, 4, had made some type of outburst. Other employees of PCDS saw the incident and told school administrators, who contacted the family of the child and CAC Detectives.

    According to a Paulding County Sheriff’s Office news release, the sheriff’s office’s Crimes Against Children division was notified Oct. 8 of an alleged incident where a pre-kindergarten student at Northside Elementary was improperly restrained as a result of some type of outburst the child had. The child, a 4-year-old, was allegedly improperly restrained by Jack Talley, who worked at the school ... After a lengthy investigation and subsequent interviews of witnesses, authorities determined that Talley acted inappropriately in the restraint of the child.

    Jack Talley, 55, was arrested for allegedly pinning a pinning a 4-year-old boy to the floor. The child, Braden Blackmon, was reportedly throwing a tantrum in the classroom. The Georgia teacher was employed as the district’s behavioral support coordinator. Witnesses who are also employed by the Paulding County School District reportedly saw the preschool student pinned to the floor by the teacher, and alerted administrators, Channel 11 News notes. According to witness accounts, Braden was in the midst of some type of outburst when the educator chose to physically restrain him on the classroom floor.

    A Paulding County teacher was out on bond Wednesday after being arrested for allegedly pinning a 4-year-old boy to the floor when the child threw a tantrum ... Investigators said Mr. Talley, 55, was supervising a Pre-K class at Northside Elementary School when 4-year- old Braden Blackmon threw a tantrum. Witnesses told deputies Mr. Talley, the district-wide coordinator for behavioral support, pinned Braden to the floor in an effort to restrain him.
